Dear Paragon Families,
This time of year is always a bit of a stretch. The days are warmer, the routines feel heavier, and summer is calling all of our names—students, teachers, and parents alike. It’s completely natural to feel the pull toward rest and reset, but we still have important weeks ahead filled with learning, celebration, and growth.
I know many of you are juggling so much right now—school, work, end-of-year projects, and all the extras that come with spring. For my own family, weekends have become a whirlwind of kids’ activities, sports games, and birthday parties. By Sunday night, I often find myself wondering how it’s already time to start another week. I see you, I feel it too—and yes, I’m tired right along with you.
But I also know that we’re not alone in this. One of the best parts of our Paragon community is the way we show up for each other. When we lean in, offer encouragement, and give each other grace, we make these final weeks not just manageable—but meaningful. Our kids are watching how we finish the year, and there’s power in showing them what it looks like to stick with something, even when it’s hard.
I had a weak moment this week, when my girls saw me breakdown from stress. I was so surprised how they immediately pep-talked me back into action. They used all of my best lines back on me to show up for them the next day. Our kids do watch and listen. And I felt proud to know they have listened to me give the same speech to them all year and were able to gift it back to me when I needed it most.
So let’s keep showing up—for each other, for our teachers, and most importantly, for our kids. These next several weeks are filled with special moments—performances, celebrations, milestones, and opportunities to reflect on just how far our kids have come. Let’s make space to notice and appreciate them, even as we look forward to the slower pace of summer.
We’ve got this. I’m here for you, cheering all of us on as we close out the year with intention and heart. Let’s finish strong—together.
With gratitude,
