Dear Paragon Families,
What a wheely fun week it’s been at Paragon! Our Annual Roller Skating Week was a huge success, and it was such a joy to watch students of all ages learn (or master!) the art of roller skating. From cautious first steps to full-on spins, the gym was filled with laughter, cheers, and tons of momentum—literally and figuratively!
Adding to the fun, we hosted our Teacher-Student Swap Day, where faculty dressed like students and students came ready to “lead” the day. It brought a great sense of humor and lightness to the week while also reminding us just how much we all enjoy being part of this unique and spirited community.
On Thursday, we had the incredible honor of watching our Kinder and 1st grade students perform their beloved Texas Program at the National Educational Records Bureau (ERB) conference, hosted right here in Austin. Before an audience of nearly 200 attendees and just ahead of the keynote speaker, our youngest Knights absolutely stole the show. Their confidence, charm, and cuteness were on full display, and they truly made Paragon shine on a national stage!
We ended the week with a heartfelt celebration at our assembly, where we honored our students earning KoRT shirts for the honor roll. It’s always inspiring to pause and recognize the hard work, focus, and growth our students have shown—and to celebrate that success together as a school family.
Weeks like these don’t happen by accident. I am incredibly grateful for our tireless staff who pour energy, creativity, and care into making every event meaningful while also keeping students engaged and academically on track. Their dedication is the heartbeat of our community, and I am so proud of what we’ve created together.
Let’s carry this energy and momentum straight through May! There’s still so much to look forward to, and I can’t wait to see how we finish the year strong—together.
Warmly,
Lindsay Hay, M. Ed.
