Dear Paragon Families,
Spring is a time of new beginnings, and I’m excited to share a big change within our school community. Cory Lemoine, who has done an incredible job as our Ancillary Director, will be returning to the classroom to join Mrs. Floyd as a 1st-grade teacher next year! We have enough students to add a second section of 1st grade and we are so happy with this pair!
While we will miss his leadership in ancillary programming, I could not be more thrilled to see him return to his true passion—teaching our youngest learners. Cory’s dedication, warmth, and enthusiasm make him a beloved member of our community, and I know our 1st graders will benefit tremendously from his expertise. In the meantime, we are actively searching for the right person to take on the Ancillary Director role and continue overseeing all the wonderful enrichment programs that make Paragon so special.
While we look ahead to these exciting changes, I also want to take a moment to celebrate a fantastic event that brought our community together. Last night, we gathered to honor our basketball teams and celebrate an amazing season, culminating in an unforgettable achievement—our JV Silver girls team (The Mighty Five) winning the championship! Seeing our students, families, and faculty come together to cheer on our athletes was a true reflection of the spirit and camaraderie that make Paragon such a special place.
Athletics play such an important role in building teamwork, perseverance, leadership, and school pride, and I love seeing our students shine both on and off the court. Whether it’s through academics or athletics, our goal is to foster well-rounded students who are supported in all their pursuits. Watching our community rally around our teams and celebrate their hard work and achievements reminds me of the power of connection and school spirit.
As we move forward with these transitions and celebrations, I am grateful for the strength of our Paragon community. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Let’s continue to support one another, celebrate our successes, and look forward to all that’s to come!
Warmly,
Lindsay Hay, M. Ed.
