Ann Fisher has been teaching in the Austin area for 27 years. She has 23 years of experience teaching Kindergarten. She was an active member of each learning community she has been a part of over the past 27 years. She enjoys mentoring student teachers and new teachers, she has served as a team leader, and participated as a member of many school committees. One of her strengths is the friendships and contacts she has made along the way.
Mrs. Fisher feels that giving students a strong, early foundation sets students up for success as they move into the upper grades. Mrs. Fisher firmly believes that student success happens when children are in a safe and loving environment. She loves watching her students as they grow and change throughout the year.
Mrs. Fisher graduated from Southwest Texas (Texas State) University with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been married to her sweetheart, Chris Fisher, for 32 years. They have 2 adult children. She is also a doting mother to her two fur babies, Murphy and Sophie.
