Adriana Vanderende - Kindergarten

Adriana VanderEnde graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has 14 years of teaching experience, with 12 years teaching Kindergarten at St. Francis School. She also spent two years leading whale-watching tours in Hawaii and Alaska! Ms. VanderEnde has served as lead teacher, has extensive experience with differentiated instruction, taught in inclusion classrooms, assisted on curriculum planning committees, and participated in a research study with The University of Texas about implementing project-based learning and increasing the amount of agency young students have in their learning.

Ms. VanderEnde believes forming a connection built on love, trust, and understanding with her students is the first step in getting to watch them thrive at school.

These days, Ms. VanderEnde and her husband lead a slightly slower-paced life with their 2-year-old daughter, 75-pound dog, rescue kitty, two chickens, and the odd litter of foster kittens.

She is thrilled to be joining the Paragon Prep community!
